Discussing peace from home
As was the case for all the other teaching activities of the University, all classes in he BA in Political Science have been suspended. But this has not discouraged B4PEACE students, who have tried to continue the discussion online, using the tools provided by the University. In the interactive workshop held last Wednesday, which was remotely re-calendarized for the Coronavirus emergency, the topics covered in the first part of the course (the determinants of peace, international security, transitional justice, social cohesion and welfare state) were discussed "in streaming" in view of the intermediate test, which will take place just after Easter.
It was a unique experience under several points of view. Beyond its formative aspects, students especially appreciated the opportunity to intervene and participate in an interactive way, contributing to the discussion also via chat. A new way of interaction, which is due to the exceptionality of the situation but which, given the high degree of satisfaction, could become a further possibility of exchange and training in the future, when we will be back to normal.
